Cass Warner Sperling
Cass Warner has the honor of being a third-generation filmmaker, and published author. Her writer/producer father, Milton Sperling was nominated twice for an Oscar; and her grandfather, Harry Warner, was the President and one of the Founders of Warner Bros. studios.
She carries on the original Warner Bros. motto by making films that "educate, entertain and enlighten" with her independent production company, Warner Sisters. www.warnersisters.com
While raising her four children, Cass authored a definitive, best selling biography, “The Brothers Warner,” on the Warner family that was published in 1993 and is available on amazon.com.
The feature documentary, THE BROTHERS WARNER was directed, written, produced and narrated by Ms. Warner. She is proud to share an intimate portrait of her family and their cultural legacy. (Warner Home Video is distributing the DVD.)
Presently, Cass is co-producing an A-List feature film, THE BROTHERS, based on her book with Alain Goldman (LA VIE EN ROSE) and with the writer Nick Pileggi (CASINO & GOODFELLAS), and producing a tribute to the icon Dennis Hooper as well as developing a library of unproduced screenplays of the writer of CASABLANCA fame, Howard Koch.
