Liang Hansen

Liang Hansen is a screenwriter, director and producer.

“Change of Pigsy”, the second 3D film directed by him is being produced in 2011, and it is expected to be finished with production by December 2012 and on show in nationwide cinemas.

Liang Hansen produced a large animation public service advertisement short film “24 solar terms” after entrusted by CCTV-11 in 2010, and the short film has been played to this day.

The first 3D animation film “Prequel of the Monkey King” in China directed by Liang Hansen in 2009 was on show during National Day in Chinese cinemas, and he was awarded with 2009 “Harmonious China” “Medals for Top 10 Innovative Characters” and his film was considered as national excellent film works.

"Birth of Monkey King”, which was a 3D puppet film directed by Liang Hansen, was considered as national excellent film works, “Chunyan Prize”-Best Animation Film Award of Beijing Film and TV Artists Association, “Oscar” Best Animation Film Award of Spring City Evening, “Golden Peacock” Best Film & TV Works Award of Kunming Municipal Government.

The 3D puppet film “Fight between Monkey King and Erlangshen” directed by Liang Hansen in 2006 was awarded with national excellent film works award, the best animation film nomination award in “Asia Pacific Screen Awards” organized by the UNESCO and International Federation of Film Producers Associations, Indian Golden Elephant Awards-best animation film nomination award, the “best visual effect award” in China 1st cultural heritage animation competition, “Golden Peacock” -the best film & TV works award of Kunming Municipal Government.

Awards of TV plays directed and produced by him are:

“Nanzhao Music to the Emperor” (Flying Goddess Award and Courser Award), “the Beloved World” (Courser Award and Special Award for Lijiang External Publicity), “Xie Yaohuan” (Flying Goddess Award), “The Censor” (Flying Goddess Award), “Li Su Nationality Wedding in Deep Mountains” (Courser Award), “Zhu De and Tang Weiyuan” (Five-One Project Award), “The Lost History” (Five-One Project Award), “One Wonder in Nantian” (the 2nd Special Subject Prize of CCTV), “Story in Yanzidong” and “Meng Lijun” (Excellent TV play award of the Ministry of Culture) and “Truth” (Excellent TV Play Award).

He has written and published Tracks in Pursuit for the Sun and Smart Production of Hansen, and he is the screenwriter of “I Come from Deep Mountains”, “Day for Night”, animation films “Prequel of the Monkey King” , “Birth of Monkey King”, “Fight between Monkey King and Erlangshen” and “Change of Pigsy”; Mr. Liang Hansen has edited books Stage Life of Wang Jinlu and China Facial Makeup Types in Beijing Opera, and published and released more than 100 audio and video products such as TV art play “Loyalty of Guan Yunchang”.
